5 Easy Ways to Make Your Goals More Achievable
Before you make your goals, I want to help you start strong. Too many times we make our goals way too big.
We get overwhelmed, frustrated, or discouraged and then we quick or say it will never work.
Why not make your goals work for you?
I have more experience in this area than I really want to admit. I’ve started way too many businesses that I’ve quit before they even had a chance at success. I either didn’t have a clear vision or made my goals completely unachievable.
You already know the importance of having clarity of your vision. But putting that into practice and making goals has literally changed the game for me.
Here are 5 ways to AVOID my same mistakes:
Challenging but achievable.
Set yourself up for success right from the very beginning. Your goals should definitely challenge you but they shouldn’t completely overwhelm you.
If a goal is too complicated, break it down into steps. This is not failure, it’s smart.
Make them fun.
Why can’t they be? You are far more likely to keep moving forward if you make it enjoyable.
There is no such thing as perfect.
You’ve probably heard it but it’s worth repeating, START BEFORE YOU’RE READY. Progress is what you’re shooting for, not perfection. There is no such thing as perfect, stop trying to get there.
Keep moving forward.
You will have set backs, failures, things that don’t go as planned…keep your vision in front of you, remember WHY you’re doing this. Keep moving forward, even if it’s the tiniest of steps. Small steps are better than no steps at all.
